Blood pressure cuffs and audiometers are subjected to regular callibration testing.
ECG machines use CAA-approved software.
Audiogram
Formal audiometry (if needed) may be offered in a soundproof room in a new state-of-the-art specialist facility. This completely eliminates background noise to maximise measured performance of the human ear.
Chaperone
The General Medical Council recommends that all patients are offered the choice of having a chaperone present in any medical examination in any setting. In accordance with this you are welcome to bring your own chaperone if you wish or I can arrange for this service if you let me know when booking your medical.
