I graduated from Manchester Medical School in 1991 winning the Arthritis Research Council Prize. I subsequently worked and trained in many of the leading teaching hospitals in Manchester, Liverpool and London. This included a wide range of specialties including several years each in Respiratory, Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine. I joined a General Practice partnership in the Cotswolds in 2003 while maintaining an active interest in aviation medical repatriations, working for many of the leading companies including the Healix Group. AXA, Mondial, IGAS, Mercury Assist, Medi-call, Atlas, and Air-Med.
